The Fillin’ Station in Cullman, AL joins the local Chamber of Commerce with an official ribbon-cutting, after several months of being open, according to an article by Cullman Tribune’s Christy Perry.

Located on the west side of Highway 31 (201 2nd Avenue NW), in the downtown area, you need to look for a Texaco Station in between Harrison St. NW and Arnold St NW to find this “meat-and-three” restaurant. I’ve passed by several times on the way home to Nashville, but it’s unfortunately been on the weekend when they weren’t open.

The Fillin’ Station is a Monday-Friday, breakfast and lunch operation, opening at 6am and closing mid-afternoon. They are also strong supporters of Veterans — very appropriate in this particular month.

Cullman is a neat town with some cool architecture and you’ll want to check it out. It’s off Interstate 65 “about” half way between Decatur and Birmingham.

Enjoy!
